Why BASENOR for Legacy Model Y Seat Protection
We don't replace the factory vegan-leather upholstery — you can't undo that without tearing it up — we protect it. The 2020–2024 Legacy Model Y gets five SKUs from us: 3-piece rear seat-back covers for the 60/40 split bench (standard + pet-mat version), leather front-and-rear seat cushions that slip over the factory seat surface for comfort and wear protection, a full slip-on seat cover set, and a TPE underseat-protector that catches what the kick mats miss. All cut for the pre-Juniper bench (headrest-post spacing, armrest cutout, 60/40 split all match 2020–2024 geometry). Juniper owners — your bench changed in 2025; these won't fit.
Buying Guide: Rear Protection vs Seat Cushion Overlay
Decide your job first. If the problem is pet paws, kid spills, or cargo banging the rear bench when you fold it, a rear seat-back cover ($44.99–$49.99) solves it cheaply. If the problem is daily wear on the driver's seat bolster after 30,000 miles, a leather cushion overlay ($179.99–$234.99) extends the life without a re-upholstery bill. If the kick mats are letting gravel slip under the front seat rails and scratch the trim, the TPE Underseat Protector ($89.99) seals the gap. These are different problems with different products — you don't need all three.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these full seat-upholstery replacements, or protection that goes over the factory seat?
All products here sit OVER the factory Tesla vegan-leather upholstery — nothing requires removing or permanently modifying the factory material. Rear seat-back covers strap to the bench via elastic bands; leather cushions slip over the seat surface; the underseat protector clips to the seat rail. Remove any of them in 30 seconds if you want the stock look back.
Do these fit the 5-seater and 7-seater Model Y Legacy — or do I need a different set?
All 5 products fit 5-seater Model Y Legacy. For 7-seater owners, the rear seat-back covers fit the middle-row 60/40 bench only — we don't make a third-row seat-back cover because the third row folds flat into the trunk floor. If you run a 7-seater, pair the 3-piece rear cover with our 7-seat trunk mat.
My Model Y is a 2024 — Legacy or Juniper? (And does this page apply?)
Check the steering wheel and rear bench. Legacy 2024 Model Y has the pre-refresh wheel with stalks plus the older 60/40 bench; Juniper has a redesigned wheel with scroll buttons and a new rear bench geometry. If yours is Legacy 2024, yes — this page applies. If yours is Juniper (2025+), the rear-bench fitment doesn't match; look at our Juniper products instead.
Will the rear seat-back cover block the 60/40 fold for cargo?
No — the 3-piece design matches the 60/40 split: the cover has a split that aligns with the fold line, so each side folds independently. You can fold the 60 side for a bike, leave the 40 side upright for a passenger, and the cover stays in place on both. The underside uses elastic straps anchored to the seat frame, not the hinge.
Do the cushion inserts block the ventilated Performance-seat airflow?
The leather front-and-rear cushions DO cover the seat surface, so they'll reduce airflow through ventilated Performance seats. If you have a Performance trim with cooling function you rely on in summer, skip the cushions and stick with rear seat-back covers + underseat protector. For non-Performance trims (Long Range, Standard), ventilation isn't a factor.
