The 2020–2024 Legacy Model Y footwell is deeper and wider than Model 3's, and the 7-seat variant adds a third-row floor contour that universal mats can't reach. Our Legacy-specific mats are molded from a 2023 Model Y 5-seater AND 7-seater scan: 4-piece front+rear footwell sets, full 8-piece and 9-piece interior liner kits with trunk and frunk coverage, and dedicated 7-seat trunk mats for third-row owners. TPE is rated to -40°F, hoses clean, and the anti-slip nibs on the underside survived 18 months of Salt Belt winter testing without curling at the seat rail. Juniper owners — your footwell geometry changed in 2025; our Legacy mats will not fit.

Buying Guide: 4-piece, 8-piece, or Full 9-piece?

Match the piece-count to what you actually want covered. A 4-piece set ($169.99) covers the 4 floor footwells — driver, passenger, rear-left, rear-right — which is the minimum for keeping cabin carpet dry. An 8-piece 3D set ($245.99) adds the trunk well, trunk side-walls, and frunk mat. A 9-piece set ($299) adds the third-row floor for 7-seaters. If you only need the trunk, we ship a standalone 7-seat trunk mat ($89.99). Choose by HOW MUCH of the interior you want waterproofed, not by sticker price alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a 4-piece, 8-piece, and 9-piece mat set?

4-piece = driver + passenger + two rear footwells (cabin floor only). 8-piece = 4 footwells + trunk well + trunk side-walls + frunk (5-seater full coverage). 9-piece = 8-piece kit PLUS third-row floor for 7-seaters. Pick 4-piece for cabin-only protection, 8-piece for daily-driver full coverage, 9-piece if you have 3 rows.

Do these fit my 7-seater Model Y — and is a third-row mat included?

The 9-piece 3D Full Set includes a dedicated third-row floor mat cut for the 2020–2024 Legacy Model Y 7-seat configuration. The 8-piece set does NOT include the third-row (it's designed for 5-seaters). If you only need trunk coverage on a 7-seater, the standalone 7-Seat Trunk Mat at $89.99 is a cheaper option.

How are TPE mats different from TPU, rubber, or carpet mats?

TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) is flexible at -40°F but rigid enough to hold anti-slip nibs, unlike rubber which cracks in winter. TPU is softer but picks up grit. Carpet holds smells and can't be hosed out. Our TPE is the same automotive-grade material Tesla uses on the Cybertruck bed — waterproof, UV-stable, and doesn't off-gas that "new mat" chemical smell.

Can I machine wash them, or do I hose them off outside?

Hose them off outside — don't machine wash. TPE is waterproof so a garden hose + a stiff brush + dish soap clears salt, grit, and pet hair in under 5 minutes per mat. Machine washing will stretch the raised nibs. Air-dry in the sun for 30 minutes before reinstalling; UV cure firms the surface back up.

Will these work on the 2024 Legacy Model Y or only on 2020–2023?

Yes — the 2024 Legacy Model Y uses the same footwell geometry as 2020–2023 (both are pre-Juniper). Every mat in this collection fits 2020–2024 Legacy Model Y. Do NOT order these for a 2025 Juniper Model Y — the Juniper footwell changed dimensions, and Legacy mats will leave gaps at the seat rail and door seal.
