Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters more than preserving an earlier version of a story. If we make a material error, we correct it promptly and explain what changed.

How to request a correction

Email editorial@basenor.com with the article URL, the specific claim you believe is inaccurate, and a source or explanation that supports the correction. Requests are recorded for assessment against the available evidence; we may contact you if clarification is needed.

What we correct

  • Material errors: incorrect facts, dates, figures, attribution, or context that could change a reader's understanding. We update the article and add a dated correction note.
  • Developing stories: new verified information may be added with a dated update note.
  • Minor edits: spelling, grammar, or formatting fixes that do not alter meaning may be made without a formal note.

When we cannot verify a claim

If evidence is incomplete, we may qualify the wording, remove the claim, or leave the article unchanged while explaining why. We do not remove accurate reporting simply because it is disputed.

Corrections record

Material correction and update notes appear on the affected article with the date and a concise description of the change. This policy applies to BASENOR Newsroom content; it does not replace product support or order-service channels.
