Tesla Launches Model Y L Accessories in the U.S.

Tesla has quietly expanded its U.S. accessories lineup for the Model Y L, adding four items focused on all-weather protection and cargo organization. The additions went live in Tesla's online shop on September 17, 2026 — roughly two months after the long-wheelbase six-seater began arriving in U.S. showrooms.

The four new items and their prices:

• All-Weather Rear Door Sill Guard — $95. Constructed from injection-molded thermoplastic, it protects the rear door sill from scuffs and mud — a high-traffic area in a three-row vehicle where passengers are constantly stepping over it.
• All-Weather Interior Liners — $260. Full-cabin floor coverage designed to handle the extra row the L adds over the standard Model Y.
• All-Weather Rear Trunk + Seatback Liner — $220. Covers the cargo area and the back face of the third-row seats, keeping both surfaces clean when the trunk is loaded.
• Parcel Shelf — $125. A cargo cover for the rear trunk area, adding privacy and a cleaner look to the back of the cabin.

The timing makes sense. First-delivery Model Y L owners are now past the honeymoon phase and looking to protect their interiors — and Tesla is clearly ready to meet that demand with factory-fit options rather than leaving the aftermarket to fill the gap.
