New Zealand Tesla owners who ordered the Model Y Long Range are getting their keys. Tesla Australia & New Zealand confirmed on June 5 that deliveries of the Model Y Long Range have officially begun in the country, marking the arrival of the refreshed lineup's most capable variant to the market.

The rollout includes the Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive, and notably the six-seater Model Y L variant — a configuration that expands the Model Y's appeal for families who need the extra seating without stepping up to a larger vehicle. New Zealand joins a growing list of markets where the Long Range trim has become available following the Juniper refresh.
For owners taking delivery now, this is the culmination of what has likely been a months-long wait. The Model Y Long Range AWD sits at the top of the standard Model Y lineup in terms of range and performance balance, and the addition of the six-seat option gives New Zealand buyers a configuration previously unavailable in the region. Congratulations are in order for the first wave of Kiwi owners driving home today.
