The proposed site would feature 124 stalls — a scale that dwarfs most existing stations and signals continued aggressive expansion of Tesla's charging network in dense urban markets.
According to site plans shared by Sawyer Merritt, all 124 stalls appear to be standard parking-style bays. There are no pull-through stalls in the current design, which means owners towing trailers or driving vehicles with rear-mounted hitches will need to plan accordingly — the station is clearly optimized for passenger vehicles rather than road-tripping with cargo in tow.
For San Francisco EV drivers — Tesla owners or otherwise, given the network's ongoing NACS expansion — a 124-stall facility would meaningfully reduce wait times during peak hours in one of the country's most congested urban charging markets. No construction timeline or opening date has been announced yet.
