Juniper's Console Was Borrowed From Highland — So Are Most of These SKUs
The 2025+ Model Y Juniper refresh inherited the Highland Model 3's interior: taller center armrest, a new "behind-screen" storage void behind the main display, touchscreen shifting (no gear stalk), and a redesigned rear-bench cup-holder layout. Legacy Model Y organizers don't fit any of it. Eight of our nine Juniper-fit pieces are dual-spec'd for Highland as well, because the center console geometry is effectively identical. One piece is Juniper-exclusive: a 2-in-1 rear trash can plus storage pocket cut for Juniper's redesigned second-row center panel. Each SKU was measured from a 2025 Juniper in the BASENOR lab, priced $14.99–$39.99.
Buying Guide: Juniper-First vs Dual-Fit
Sort the nine pieces into two groups. The eight dual-fit SKUs work on both Juniper and Highland because Tesla used the same console mold — this includes the 4-piece hidden console set ($39.99), the Carbon Edition 3-piece ($29.99), the behind-screen dashboard storage ($18.99), and the TPU non-slip covers in black and white ($29.99 each). If you want the most storage per dollar, start with the 4-piece hidden set. The Juniper-exclusive piece is the rear 2-in-1 trash can + side pocket ($29.99) — cut for Juniper's new rear bench layout where the center panel position moved roughly two inches forward versus Legacy.
| SKU | Fit scope | What it solves | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4PCS Hidden Console Set | Juniper + Highland | Full top-to-bottom organizer stack | $39.99 |
| Under Screen Storage 100% Secure | Juniper + Highland | Locks into screen base, anti-theft | $39.99 |
| Behind Screen Dashboard Storage | Juniper + Highland | Hidden compartment behind display | $18.99 |
| Carbon Edition 3PCS | Juniper + Highland | Carbon look, slim profile | $29.99 |
| TPU Non-Slip Cover (Black or White) | Juniper + Highland | Anti-scuff phone grip | $29.99 |
| Juniper Rear 2-in-1 Trash Can | Juniper only | Trash + side pocket for the new rear layout | $29.99 |
Fitment Check: Is My Car a Juniper?
2025+ Model Y in North America is Juniper. Confirm with touchscreen gear shifting (no gear stalk) and ambient door-sill lighting. Juniper keeps the turn-signal stalks; Highland removed them. Legacy MY has both stalks and no ambient sill — if that's your car, use the Legacy collection instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my 2023 Legacy Model Y's console organizer fit my new 2025 Juniper?
No. Juniper's console sits on the Highland mold — taller armrest, repositioned cup holders, new under-screen void. A Legacy-fit tray rides too low and leaves a finger-width gap at the armrest hinge. To confirm Juniper: check for touchscreen shifting (no gear stalk) and ambient sill lighting. If both are present, you own a Juniper and every SKU here is the right fit.
Does the behind-screen storage interfere with the HVAC vents or the main display?
No. The behind-screen piece tucks into the hollow behind the 15.4" display, above the HVAC vent stack and below the airbag sensor cover. It adds roughly 0.8 L of hidden storage and holds up to 500 g of payload. Cabin airflow is unaffected because the vent openings sit below the storage cavity. Screen calibration and touch response are unchanged.
Is the Juniper rear trash can the same as the Highland one, or is it Juniper-specific?
Juniper-specific. Highland's rear bench has a different cup-holder cluster spacing, so Highland's rear trash can doesn't align with Juniper's fold-down center panel. The Juniper 2-in-1 ($29.99) adds a side pocket cut for Juniper's rear armrest geometry. If you own Highland, order the Highland rear trash can from the Highland collection instead.
Can I still use the factory wireless charging pad with the TPU console cover installed?
Yes — the TPU cover is cut to leave the Qi charging pad fully exposed. The non-slip texture sits only on the front half of the armrest and around the cup holders. Charging performance is unchanged at the default 15 W output. If you dual-stack a phone case that's thicker than 4 mm, expect the same thermal throttling you'd see without the cover.
Are these shared with the Model 3 Highland, or are they Juniper-only fit?
Eight of the nine SKUs are explicitly dual-fit for Model Y Juniper and Model 3 Highland — Tesla used the same center console mold, so any piece that clips into the console well (hidden set, under-screen storage, TPU cover, carbon trims) fits both. Only the rear 2-in-1 trash can is Juniper-only because the rear-bench layout differs between the two.
