2022-2026 Tesla Model S/X Cabin Air Filter - Activated Carbon | BASENOR

The front side of this filter looks just like any normal paper cabin filter. The back side has a tiny mesh with little granules of activated carbon, which should absorb any odors present in the car. Will see if there's any noticeable difference - right now it's just nice to have a clean, new filter.

Pretty good value in comparison with Tesla OEM filter as it appears better than the OEM with individual pockets of charcoal balls inside the tiny chambers + it comes with a trim removal plastic tool to prevent damage to the plastic trims while replacing the filter. This one also has a loop/tag on the top for easy pull from the filter housing.I am including the pictures of the OEM filter for comparison. Highly recommend this filter!!!

I have owned my 2022 Tesla Model S for two years and driven almost 20,000 miles. Tesla vehicles require very little maintenance compared to ICE vehicles. There is no oil to change, no tune-up required, and brakes are rarely used so they don't wear out. The two things that do need your attention are tires of course and the often overlooked cabin air filter.The OEM Tesla cabin air filter is made from plain paper and is not HEPA. So I was excited to discover that BASENOR was offering a HEPA replacement filter with Activated Carbon for my Tesla. And with the Model S Refresh, Tesla made it very easy to replace compared to previous models. BASENOR shares their video which shows how to easily replace it in under 5 minutes. I took the challenge today and completed the change in 5 minutes. I expect it to take me 2 minutes the next time I change the cabin filter.It is just that easy!

The BASENOR Model S or X Cabin Air Filter is an UPGRADE from the Tesla filter and it's EASY to install. It comes with a pry tool and directions with pictures but the easiest way to see how to swap out your filter is to watch the video on the Amazon website for the filter.The video shows you how swap out the current filter with the BASENOR filter step by step. Just remember, when you slide the new BASENOR filter up into the holder have the black/gray side of the filter facing the back of the car NOT the white side.Snap it all back together and you're done. Fitted perfectly and it was very easy to install. Great way to save money as it is very affordable compared to the service center bill to replace the filters.

Filter fit my 2022 Model S Plaid perfectly. Functions really well. The reason I opted to change the filter in the car was that the car had a strange smell once climate control kicked on after the car had been sitting for a while. Thought I would replace the filter and see if it resolved it. Fortunately, it did and the price was fair. Would definitely purchase again in the future.

This is one of those difficult to review products since if it's doing its job you're not suppose to notice it. It seems sturdy and durable for its intended use. I've had it in my Model X for about 3 months and it seem to be doing a good job filtering the circulated air in the vehicle. Its as easy to install as the OEM filter, which is more a function of the placement of the filter and the fitting that hold the filter in place, than the filter itself. It's reasonably priced compared to the OEM filters and often comes with a small discount. I would not hesitate to purchase this product.

It fits perfectly in my 2022 Tesla model X (refreshed). Note that the air flow arrow printed on the new filter is the opposite direction than the original filter, I don’t know if this is a mistake or not.

Air filter itself was pretty easy to install (watching a video for instructions as that's much easier than following official written directions). The air filter seems to be doing a good job as an air filter despite having been banged up a bit in shipping.

This air filter physically fits well in a 2023 Model X. The installation video on the page helped me more than the service manual for the car did. I'm questioning if this is actually a HEPA filter or a filter that has carbon filter beads on it. A few of the circles of carbon were crushed and the little carbon balls were missing. It seems to do an okay job of filtering the air but I feel like its capabilities may be a bit overstated.

This was installed in a 2023 Tesla Model X.It came with a tool to help remove trim, which was useful. It really only took a few minutes to do, following the instructions (they also had a video online which was very helpful). The Tesla trim pieces are pretty low-tolerance so it took a little futzing, but wasn't bad.It looks just like the pictures. The filter looks and feels (for what's that's worth) better than OEM. It is identically sized, and provides a good seal. Air quality has been good around here so I can't say if it's really doing a better job, but at least it's not causing any problems.I'm glad I got this.

These are a must have replacement part for the OEM air filters and a significant step up in terms of quality. You can tell immediately when you switch filters the difference. The HEPA filters provide a clean, neutral feeling from the vents, and its lasted months and I've been using my vents daily given its winter.

The HEPA filter is installed behind the glove compartment which requires unclipping several trim pieces as well as the glove box itself. There are plenty of youtube videos if this is your first time but it's not supper difficult. Fits & function just as well as the OEM filter. Just take your time during disassembly so you don't break anything. Construction & quality of filter appear to be equivalent to the OEM at half the cost. Would use again.

This is a very fast - 2 minute installation.Very clear instructions and a PRY-TOOL is included.Original factory filters were 2 years old.This HEPA filter with the additional carbon pellets really filter the air better than the factory filters.Odors are GONE !!!

Instructions were terrible. Qr code to instructional video was unavailable. Had to figure it out on my own.See my video to see orientation of air filter when installing.So far it seems to fit and work well.
