This upgraded air filter from BASENOR is a great addition to the Tesla Model 3. It provides excellent filtration and noticeably improves the cabin air quality. The installation process was simple, and the fit is perfect. A solid upgrade for anyone looking to maintain a fresh and clean interior environment.
This is a very fast - 2 minute installation.Very clear instructions and a PRY-TOOL is included.Original factory filters were 2 years old.This HEPA filter with the additional carbon pellets really filter the air better than the factory filters.Odors are GONE !!!
These are a must have replacement part for the OEM air filters and a significant step up in terms of quality. You can tell immediately when you switch filters the difference. The HEPA filters provide a clean, neutral feeling from the vents, and its lasted months and I've been using my vents daily given its winter.
The front side of this filter looks just like any normal paper cabin filter. The back side has a tiny mesh with little granules of activated carbon, which should absorb any odors present in the car. Will see if there's any noticeable difference - right now it's just nice to have a clean, new filter.
Air filter itself was pretty easy to install (watching a video for instructions as that's much easier than following official written directions). The air filter seems to be doing a good job as an air filter despite having been banged up a bit in shipping.
Helped eliminate musty cabin smell. Not super easy to install DIY.
