This cup holder “insert mat” would certainly work if all you wanted was something to protect the bottom 1/2-inch of your cup holder. But it will not do much to contain any slight slips. It is well made, and easy to install. However, you will still get liquid down the inside sides of your center console cup holder. One benefit, however, is it won’t lessen the effective inside diameter … because of the spring ‘fingers”. That may be important to some. But if what you want is maximum coverage of the inside of the cup holder, then this won’t be your best option. I ended up returning this item for one for the TPARTS silicone center console cup holder insert (for just $5 more).

I bought the liner version of this product and it fit great in the cupholder. It was rigid enough to fit snugly and catch the internal lip so that when you pull bottles out, the liner stays in place. Most people will not notice that it is there because it blends in. However, I ended up returning the product because the stabilizers inside are too rigid. Therefore, a standard hydro flask water bottle did not fit and that's what I would put in there the most.

Doesn't impact what you can fit, unlike some other liners. Easy to remove for cleanup.

Have ordered other Basenor products for my 2024 Tesla model 3 and never disappointed. They may be a little higher priced than other similar products but always top quality and have never found a problem except for one item. Ordered all 4 mud guards and because of the cars low profile and suspension, ended up catching the ground with the front guards and replaced them twice.
