So I installed this I put something that I will only need in the event of an emergency but I did forget about this for at least two months it is very well hidden if you install it properly it stays there for a long time the sun does not destroy it because my car is out all the time so it’s actually pretty good for the price not bad
Item arrived on time and as described. Installation was straightforward. The most difficult part was peeling the backing off the 4 pieces of 3M tape on the corners (which did take me a couple minutes Bc there wasn’t an edge and the tape kept wanting to peel off e product)!Seems to work as intended. Extra storage is always appreciated!
We all know the glove box takes some, minimal but little, steps and effort to open in Model 3. This eliminates the constant need to do that. You put your insurance paper work, loose dollar bills (who still keeps that around?) and (short) USB-C cables in there and that's it! It's hidden and easy to get to without digging around. Love it!
It's a perfect fit in the lid of the center console on my 3 and provides valuable storage. I haven't even used the adhesive yet. This inserts and hold small items well. I wish it was a little easier to grab stuff out of the bottom but for the stuff I rarely need (insurance cards, registration, etc) it works perfectly.
This item is great because it creates an extra storage unit for the car. It is also very discrete. You can leave your valuables in there without anyone noticing.The tape on this unit isn’t great, but you can always buy some 3M tape. The unit holds well without actually using the tape, so I actually didn’t tape it.
This is a very cool idea and works well. However, since I installed it I never put anything in it. It was an impulse buy with the new Model Y but just never used.
