This preventer is easy to install. It snaps on the vent nicely. It helps to prevent small items getting into the vent. It does not decrease the airflow speed. The color of it is black so it is hidden in the dark and not noticeable. It is made of plastic and easy to get damaged. The look of it is not bad.
I have no idea why Tesla left the vents open under the back seat. These serve the purpose of keeping things from rolling into the vent area and ending up who knows where. They were exceptionally easy to install and appear that they will be durable enough.
Simple install. Fit great. Just snap them on. This simple install can possibly save a huge headache if something were to fall into this vent. Not sure how you would ever get it back out. For the price just buy them and have piece of mind.
I tried 4 different brands before I found this one that actually snaps on and fits well. This cover actually clips on and stays on.Why do you need this? It's far too easy for things to fall into these poorly placed and poorly designed vent holes. Trust me, you don't want stuff rattling around in the underbelly of your Tesla for all time.

This is needed to cover the vents under your seat. Kids crumbs and toys easily would fall into them without these. You definitely need something and this works great.
Just received these vent covers and installed them. Took less than a minute to remove the adhesive and quickly clicked them over each of the two floor vents under the front seats. Now I have the piece of mind that coins, debris and small rocks from shoes won’t go into the vents, without affecting the airflow. I highly recommend these for any Tesla Model Y owner. Works great, looks like OEM and super easy to install.

Product came as described. However I received a message from the seller that for the 2023 Model Y, the covers would have to be kept in place with tape. I appreciate the honesty of the seller but will be returning as I do not want to use tape to hold the covers in place. I was looking for a product that could fit itself.
I watched a YouTube video recommending a cent cover for your return intake in Tesla vehicles. I pull my seats forward to see if it will be a problem. The answer is yes, and I started to search Amazon for the highest rated, good quality and cheapest covers. I found Basenor vent covers met all the criteria and ordered them. They work great, they were easy to snap in place and are relativity flat. I would recommend getting a vent cover to everyone who owns a Tesla especially with kids. It would be a pain to try to get Cheerios or Cheetos out of vents.
The a/c vent cover definitively will work to prevent small objects from rolling into the car. Also the size fits well for Tesla Y 2023. Problem is the double-sided tape. It is thin and flimsy. It sticks to my finger stronger than the plastic. So it loosely sits and covers the a/c vent. If your feet kick it accidentally, it will move away.

real simple. these fit perfectly on both sides of our 2022 Tesla Model Y. Just snaps into place if you have it on right. No adhesive or tape, perfect fit. simple honestly.

Why Tesla left these ports wide open... for anything to fall into and not be recovered... is beyond my comprehension. These should be installed in the cars as they make them.
It fit on the 2022 Model Y just fine. It sort of "snaps into place"; not briskly, but certainly stays in place.
Mine were very easy to snap in. They’re simple plastic and black. No frills and doing the job.
Perfect fit in my 22 Model Y. Hopefully it will keep the stuff the kids drop out of the vent.
