This preventer is easy to install. It snaps on the vent nicely. It helps to prevent small items getting into the vent. It does not decrease the airflow speed. The color of it is black so it is hidden in the dark and not noticeable. It is made of plastic and easy to get damaged. The look of it is not bad.
I have no idea why Tesla left the vents open under the back seat. These serve the purpose of keeping things from rolling into the vent area and ending up who knows where. They were exceptionally easy to install and appear that they will be durable enough.
Simple install. Fit great. Just snap them on. This simple install can possibly save a huge headache if something were to fall into this vent. Not sure how you would ever get it back out. For the price just buy them and have piece of mind.
I tried 4 different brands before I found this one that actually snaps on and fits well. This cover actually clips on and stays on.Why do you need this? It's far too easy for things to fall into these poorly placed and poorly designed vent holes. Trust me, you don't want stuff rattling around in the underbelly of your Tesla for all time.
Many of the reviews say the product doesn’t fit, but that’s not true. You have to press the vent cover over the vent and make sure it’s facing the right direction. Don’t be afraid to apply some pressure but it will eventually snap on. Good quality plastic too.
They looks really nice after you install and highly recommended.I have no issue with the driver side but the passenger side one was tight and took me a while
