This fits perfectly in the 2023 Model 3 cup holder. It sticks in place well and doesn't slide around or peel up, but is easy to remove if you want to. It holds a full sized energy drink can snugly, but not so tight it crushes the can.
The fit is good and it looks good. It adds just a bit more grip for smaller beverages. The material is plasticky but you won’t notice once installed which took like 5 seconds to do.
Perfect fit! At first when I took it out of the box it looked kind of strange because the two circular bottoms would only sit flat if you squeeze the middle part. Turns out this was by design. When installed in the Model Y, the middle part will get pushed together and the insert would fit perfectly inside the car cup holder.
This item works well, items that were not snug can cause noise in an ultra silent environment which is a Tesla. This secures items, and appears custom built for the application, highly recommended.
It does hold everything in place. Had to push a can in but be carful as you can easy spill drink contents if not careful because the space becomes very tight.
Purchased before Tesla was delivered, glad it fit to well. Us it to hold my dogs water cup works fine. Don’t have to worry about water spilling or cup tipping over.
