The announcement came via Tesla's official X account overnight.
The tool covers the current active lineup — Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck — and is worth bookmarking if you're weighing an upgrade or helping someone in your circle make their first Tesla decision. Notably, Tesla officially stopped taking new custom orders for Model S and Model X in early 2026, so those models won't factor into most new-purchase comparisons going forward.
For the 2026 model year, there's actually a lot to compare. The refreshed Model 3 Highland brings a quieter cabin and a more premium interior across Standard RWD, Long Range RWD, and Performance trims. The updated Model Y Juniper added narrow headlamps, a full-width front light bar, ventilated front seats, a rear-seat passenger display, and a new entry-level Standard trim. Putting those two side by side in the tool — especially on cargo space and range — is a genuinely useful exercise for anyone sitting on the fence between them.
