The approval matters because Vegas Loop stations require county entitlement before construction can begin — so 123 entitled stations represents the theoretical ceiling of the network's near-term footprint, not just a planning document. The Boring Company also used the announcement to reiterate a core design philosophy: because the system is point-to-point with no intermediate stops, stations can in principle be placed almost anywhere, including, as they put it, "every driveway."
