Why Legacy Model 3 Consoles Need Their Own Organizers
The 2017–2023 Model 3 center console is a sliding tray that pops open like a drawer — shallow, flat-bottomed, and sized around the original dual-cup-holder layout. Organizers cut for "Tesla Model 3 all years" often collide with the 2024 Highland's taller armrest and redesigned lower well, or sit proud and block the Legacy sliding lid from closing. Our 13 Legacy-fit pieces are measured from a 2021 Model 3: under-screen trays molded to the pre-Highland dash, carbon-edition armrest pads shaped around the original hinge, TPE lower-console inserts cut to the narrow Legacy well, and cup-holder inserts sized to Trenta-class tumblers that otherwise wobble in the factory cutouts. Price range $9.99–$39.99, all shipping from US warehouses.
Buying Guide: Match the Piece to the Pain Point
Organize by what's bugging you, not by bundle size. If the factory cup holders rattle Yeti or Trenta tumblers, a cup-holder insert ($14.99) fixes it in 30 seconds with no tools. If stuff rolls around the sliding tray every turn, the 3-piece carbon-fiber set ($34.99) drops in and adds a phone slot, coin well, and hidden key-card tray. If the lower console looks like a junk drawer, the TPE bottom-storage insert ($24.99) carves it into three compartments. If kids trash the rear bench, the rear-seat trash can with lid ($34.99) snaps onto the second row. Mix-and-match — each SKU is standalone.

Legacy vs Highland vs Model Y — What Won't Cross-Fit
Highland (2024+) redesigned the console: taller armrest, new cup-holder spacing, and a different under-screen cubby. Legacy organizers do not fit Highland. Model Y Legacy shares some dual-fit SKUs, but the deeper MY well needs its own insert. If your Model 3 has physical turn-signal stalks, you own a Legacy and every piece here fits.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will a Highland (2024+) console organizer fit my 2021 Legacy Model 3?
No. Highland's console is taller and the armrest, cup-holder spacing, and lower tray all moved. A Highland-fit tray sits proud on a Legacy and blocks the sliding lid from closing. Check your turn-signal stalks — if they're physical stalks, you have a Legacy; if they're steering-wheel buttons, you have Highland and need the Highland-fit collection instead.
Can the under-screen tray interfere with wireless phone charging?
Our under-screen organizer sits below the Qi charging pad, not on it, so charging continues normally. If you stack a phone on top of the tray and then on the charger, expect thermal throttling. For fastest charging, drop the phone directly on the factory pad and use the tray for cards, AirPods, and the key card behind it.
The cup holders are too wide for my Yeti tumbler — is there an insert that fixes that?
Yes. The Carbon Edition Cup Holder Insert ($14.99) is sized for Trenta-class tumblers — roughly 3.5 inch base — and grips Yeti Rambler 20 and 30 oz cups without wobble. It drops in with no adhesive and lifts out for cleaning. If you want a deeper hold on short cans, pair it with the armrest pad.
Do these block the center console's sliding lid or the armrest hinge?
No — every SKU here was measured on a 2021 Legacy Model 3 with the lid fully closed and the armrest fully reclined. The 3-piece carbon-fiber set and the TPE lower insert are both specifically low-profile to clear the sliding lid. If you install the armrest pad, make sure the adhesive strips sit below the hinge line before pressing down.
Will the rear trash can slide around when I brake hard?
The Rear Console Organizer uses an adjustable strap that loops around the front-seat headrest posts, so hard braking pulls the strap taut rather than launching the bin. The lid seals with a magnetic flap — spills stay inside. On gravel roads it can sway a few degrees; tighten the strap one notch past finger-tight to zero that out.
