What Fits Your Tesla?
This exterior collection is built around 2017–2023 Model 3 fitment, before the Highland refresh changed key exterior and cabin details. Wheel covers, spoilers, car covers, windshield sunshades, jack pads, and wheel-cover storage bags solve different jobs, so start with the part location rather than the word “Model 3.” If your project crosses inside and outside upgrades, compare 2017-2023.10 Model 3 Interior and 2020-2025 Model Y Accessories for sibling categories that share some service accessories but not body-specific panels.
How We Choose These Picks
We give priority to parts that protect paint, wheels, glass, or lift points without requiring permanent modification. The rear spoiler listings are model-year specific for 2017–2023 Model 3, while the jack pad is a broader 2013–2026 Tesla 3/Y/S/X service accessory. That difference matters: a lift pad can be universal by jacking-point geometry, but a spoiler or car cover must follow the actual body shape.
Decision Matrix
| Upgrade goal | Best item type | Measured cue |
|---|---|---|
| Wheel refresh | 2017–2023 Model 3 18" wheel covers | 4PCS set |
| Rear styling | Model 3 spoiler wing | No-drilling ABS option |
| Safe lifting | TPE jack pad | 10x hardness callout |
Frequently Asked Questions
Do these exterior accessories fit Model 3 Highland? Treat Highland as separate unless the product title says 2024+ compatibility. Wheel covers, spoilers, and body covers are especially sensitive to refresh-year changes; service tools like jack pads are the safer cross-generation exception.
Legacy Tesla Model 3 Exterior Accessories — 2017 through October 2023
This collection covers BASENOR's exterior accessories sized for Legacy Tesla Model 3 — the original 2017 through October 2023 cars before the Highland refresh. If you can see physical turn-signal stalks on your steering column and split headlights up front, you have a Legacy 3 and these parts fit. The Highland refresh (2024+) redesigned the front bumper, headlights, and rear lighting strip, so most Legacy exterior SKUs won't fit a Highland — see our Highland-specific exterior collection if you're driving the new car. Daniel's Engineering Lab built this catalog around Legacy 3's seven-year-stable bumper, fender, and trunk lid contours.

What's in this collection
11 exterior SKUs sized to fit Legacy Model 3 specifically or to cross-fit Legacy and Highland. Legacy-specific items: the 2017-2023 18" Wheel Covers (Performance Hubcaps Matte Black 4PCS) replicate the factory 18" Aero hubcap mold, the 2017-2023 Performance Rear Spoiler (Gen 2 ABS No Drilling Matte Black) and the 2017-2023 Rear Spoiler Wing (OEM ABS Carbon Fiber) bond to Tesla's pre-prepared adhesive lanes on the trunk lid, and the Tesla Model 3 Mud Flaps & Splash Guards (2017-2023, No-Drill All-Weather 4PCS) install behind each wheel using factory mounting points.
Cross-fit and universal items: the 2017-2026 Model 3 Car Cover (All-Weather Waterproof with charge-port flap) fits both Legacy and Highland because Tesla kept body length within 1" between generations. The 2017-2026 Wheel Cover Storage Bag fits 18-20" wheels for seasonal swaps. The 2017-2026 Highland Trunk Grocery Bag Hook is sized for both Highland and Legacy 3 trunk hooks. The 2017-2026 Highland & Juniper Door Lock Cover (Carbon No Tape) is specifically sized for Highland 3 and Juniper Y latch geometry — it does NOT fit Legacy 3 (Legacy needs a different door-lock cover). The 2013-2026 Jack Pad (TPE Battery Protection 10x Hardness) covers Tesla's unchanged battery jack-point geometry and fits every Tesla in the lineup. We also include universal Tesla accessories that span all generations.
How to choose
If you're in the salt belt (NY, MA, MI, OH, PA, IL, NJ, CT): the 2017-2023 Mud Flaps & Splash Guards (No-Drill 4PCS) go on within the first month of ownership. After 50,000 miles unprotected, the lower-rear quarter panels show pitting that costs $400-600 per panel to repaint. Installation uses Tesla's factory mounting points — no drilling, no tape — and takes 10 minutes. They will NOT fit Highland; only Legacy 3 (2017-2023).
If you want the Performance look without the Performance trim: the 2017-2023 Rear Spoiler Wing (OEM ABS Carbon Fiber) is the highest-volume cosmetic upgrade for Legacy 3 owners. Bonds to the trunk lid using Tesla's pre-prepared adhesive zone — no drilling, no warranty risk. The Performance Gen 2 ABS spoiler is the matte black variant. Both fit any 2017-2023 Legacy 3 regardless of trim (Standard Range, Long Range, Performance).
If your aero wheel covers are faded or cracked: the 2017-2023 18" Performance Hubcaps (Matte Black 4PCS) replace faded factory aero covers and snap onto the same 4-pin locating geometry Tesla uses. Restoring properly fitted aero covers gets you back the 4-7% EPA range you lose with open-spoke wheels. Check your door-jamb sticker for "Aero" wheel spec before ordering — these don't fit factory Sport (19") or Performance Uberturbine wheels.
If you store the car outdoors: the 2017-2026 Car Cover (All-Weather Waterproof with charge-port flap) protects against UV fade, sap, bird droppings, and salt spray. Fits both Legacy and Highland because body dimensions are within 1". The charge port flap is positioned for the standard left-rear NACS port. Skip the cover if you have a garage; a microfiber dust cover is fine for indoor parking.
If you do tire rotations at home: the 2013-2026 Jack Pad (TPE Battery Protection) is non-negotiable on any Tesla. The battery pack sits an inch below the factory jack point; a misaligned hockey-puck adapter has caused $25,000+ battery damage in service-bay incidents. Universal across the entire Tesla lineup.
Common questions
Do these accessories fit a 2017, 2018, or 2019 Model 3?
Yes. Tesla kept Legacy Model 3 exterior dimensions, bumper contours, and wheel-arch mounting points consistent across all seven Legacy production years (2017-2023). Mud flaps, spoilers, hubcaps, and the car cover fit any Legacy 3 regardless of build year. The factory front bumper got a minor 2021 restyle (chrome trim removed) but mounting points didn't move.
Is this collection for the OLD Model 3 or the new Highland?
This collection is Legacy Model 3 only — 2017 through October 2023. Legacy 3 has split headlights, chrome-trimmed front bumper (pre-2021), and physical turn-signal stalks. Highland (2024+) has a redesigned matte light bar, restyled bumpers, and different wheel-arch geometry. If you have a Highland, shop our Highland-specific exterior collection — most Legacy SKUs won't fit because the bumper-to-fender transitions changed.
Will Legacy spoilers fit a 2024+ Highland?
No. Highland has a higher-arched trunk lid and the rear lighting strip extends further along the panel — Legacy spoiler mounting points line up where Highland has the new light strip. Forcing a Legacy spoiler onto a Highland will cover or damage the LED bar. Highland spoilers are sold separately when available.
What about universal exterior items like the Jack Pad?
Universal SKUs (the 2013-2026 Jack Pad spanning every Tesla, the 2017-2026 Mud Flap Screws Replacement Kit, the 2017-2026 Wheel Cover Storage Bag, and the 2017-2026 Highland & Juniper Door Lock Cover) work on Legacy 3 too. The Jack Pad covers Tesla's unchanged battery jack-point geometry. The Mud Flap Screws are the standard fastener thread Tesla uses across the lineup. We always label these clearly with the 2013-2026 or 2017-2026 year range.
Will the 2017-2023 Model 3 Mud Flaps fit a 2018 build?
Yes. The Mud Flaps & Splash Guards 4PCS kit fits every Legacy 3 from 2017 through October 2023. Installation uses Tesla's factory mounting points behind each wheel — no drilling, no tape. Fits any trim (Standard Range, Long Range, Performance) within the Legacy generation. They will NOT fit Highland because the rear bumper contour and wheel-arch mounting points moved.
Will the 2017-2023 Model 3 18" Wheel Covers (Performance Hubcaps) fit my Aero wheel?
Yes — these replicate the factory 18" Aero hubcap mold and snap onto the same 4-pin locating geometry Tesla uses on Legacy 3. Matte Black 4PCS replaces faded or cracked OEM aero covers. They will NOT fit Highland because Highland uses a different 18" wheel design (Nova Silver factory hubcaps with a different pin pattern). Confirm Aero spec on the door-jamb sticker.
Does the 2017-2026 Model 3 Car Cover fit Highland too?
Yes — the 2017-2026 Car Cover is sized to fit both Legacy and Highland Model 3 exterior dimensions. Tesla kept the overall body length and roofline within 1" between the two generations, so the cover stretches across both. The charge port flap is positioned for the standard left-rear NACS port location used on every Model 3. Color and material are also unchanged.
Do these exterior accessories affect Tesla's warranty?
Bolt-on accessories using factory mounting points (mud flaps, hubcaps, jack pads, mud-flap screws, spoilers using factory adhesive zones) don't affect warranty. The OEM ABS Carbon Fiber spoilers are designed to bond to Tesla's pre-prepared adhesive lanes — same surface preparation Tesla uses. Items that do void warranty: anything modifying brakes, sensors, charge ports, or the battery enclosure. Nothing in this collection touches those systems.
