This sunshade works perfectly and is quite sturdy! It can hold itself up without using the car visors. It’s super easy to put away as you just need to fold it into a circle and put it in the little baggy that it comes with. It has kept my car at a lower temperature on some of our hottest days.
This sunshade fits and works exactly as advertised:-- Fit is perfect, no sun gets thru the front windshield-- sunshade material keeps the inside temp of the car DRAMATICALLY reduced from the strong CA sun-- Comes with a bag (but do not use it, we just fold and put under the seat)Great buy!
Bottom line, it fits! Folding it up is the normal counter twist motion to about a 12 disc. The inside is black and the outside facing side is a silver metallic finish. This is quick and easy to setup given all of the room inside the Model Y. it seems well built and I like the fit to keep the sun out.Tested on a '26 Model Y Long Range
This works great for my model 3 Tesla 2025. It is a dark colored car and the heat gets intense in the summer. This works to block out the heat and looks good in black. I previously bought another one that was for the model Y by accident and it didn't fit. This one did the trick as advertised!
Easy to open and place in front of the windshield. Works well in blocking the sun and keeping the car cool. Seems sturdy and like it will last. A little tricky to get back into its storage bag, but not as difficult as some light reflectors I've used for photography. Happy to have this solution for the summer.
Folding is not intuitive at all when placing it away however it fits the window nice and reflects the heat.
