After installing these filters, it no longer smells after initially opening the air conditioner. To be fair, I also changed the cabin filter at the same time. So it could be the cabin filter that got rid of the smell. Since I changed both filters, I will give this filter credit as well.

Well made filter, the only thing is you have to check if your 2020 or earlier model Y uses these filter. Just lift the cover and you'll see a wide panel that houses filters, if your model doesn't have it it will have air intake on the left side of the car and no place to put filters.

These cabin filters are good replacements for the OEM version. They fit perfectly and seem to provide comparable filtering for the car's interior. I don't drive in a very dusty area so I don't need super filtering. These should be just fine. Glad I ordered them.

I got this cabin filters that is installed in the Frunk area of my Tesla model Y LR 2023.The really nice thing about the outer filter is that it is much easier to replace than the inside cabin filter. It looks like the OEM filter that came with the vehicle.Fit is good. All four parts were easy to installed without any issue. I would love to recommend the filters as a good alternative to the OEM filters.
I always get filters changed before the pollen allergy burst in the spring. These filters are good quality, come with the tools. With the instructions and video, I can do it myself.

These replacement filters are easy to be installed and replaced. They fit in the slot perfectly like the OEM version. The quality of the filters is same as the OEM model. I replace my OEM with these after 2 years owning the car to keep the car smell fresh and clean. These filters help to prevent airflow clogged and filter bad smell on the road so I could have a better ride on the road. I follow the YouTube video when installing these filters which help me a lot. Once the filters are replaced, I feel the airflow blowing air stronger like when I first purchased the car.

Simple and good filters. Replacements fit well for 2022 MY with perfect alignment for the casing. The kit comes with an allen style wrench for T20, which comes in handy for one of the bolts. Buy with confidence.

First, for those less mechanically inclined, or unsure about what is what in their car (which the filters can be confusing) -- this is the cabin filter that is installed in the Frunk area of your car (sometimes oddly called the Engine Air Filter); this is not the cabin filter that is mounted near the console inside the cabin of the car. Ultimately, a Model Y needs both.The nice thing about the outer filter is that it is much easier to replace than the inside cabin filter. Pop off the upper covering, unscrew some screws, pull the old filter out and put the new ones in. What may slow down the less mechanical folks is not having the right screwdriver on hand. Unlike most inside cabin filters, this does not include a screwdriver of any sort. Personally, I'm good with that; I throw away too many already. But you may want to pop off that snap-on cover first to make sure you have the right tool.Fit is good. All four parts go in snuggly, and there is no binding or bulging when you're putting the parts back together.Once in, I notice no extra effort from the AC system (something you'll get if it's starving for air), and lacking a scientific study, the air seems properly filtered with no noticeable odors. These seem like a good alternative to the OEM filters.
We get dust storms frequently, and use the BioHazard HEPA filters to filter out the dust. They work great in doing so. Takes about 15 minutes or so to swap them out in a '21 Model Y. These filters are large, and depending on how often you use them, can handle a lot of dirt. For us, it was just over 1.5 years. These are large filters that go in the FRUNK, not interior evaporator filters.

Unlike the cabin air filters in the Model 3, these are easy to access and replace with simple tools. These filters are rated at HEPA which means they filter out particles above 0.3 microns. Definitely an important replacement in dusty areas.If you are not mechanically inclined, I have found that the Tesla mobile service team will replace filters without you having the purchase the filter from Tesla. My last filter replacement in the Model 3, which is much more complicated, cost only $20 for labor. Purchasing after market filters can be a big savings.
