2020-2026 Tesla Model Y Juniper Side Window Sunshade - UV Block Kids Privacy | BASENOR

These shades are great if you want some extra shade or privacy. For side windows, my installation tip is to start with the bottom of the shade and slide it between the window housing and the door seal, beginning at the end of the door. When you get out, just hold the shade at the top once you close the door, it will stay securely in place.

The product is one of the better sunshades for the Tesla out there. It is lightweight, portable, very easy to install and remove, and fits pretty well. We like to camp in our Tesla so these are excellent to use for privacy and also to reduce sunlight!

This set comes complete with shades for even the tiny windows on the side. They are easy to install and block out most of the light. There are slight gaps on the sides but not enough to make a difference. They seems to be well made and should last a long time. These will be great for car camping.

I installed the BASENOR sunshade set on my 2026 Model Y, and it’s been a game-changer. The fit is spot-on — no gaps, no sagging. It’s made a huge difference in keeping the cabin cooler during hot days and provides excellent privacy, especially when camping or resting in the car.The reflective material works well to block out UV rays, and the installation was straightforward. I appreciate that it doesn’t interfere with the windows or sensors. Overall, a solid accessory that enhances comfort and privacy. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to improve their Model Y experience.

Ordered this to because we wait in our car a lot for our kids and wanted to keep the inside cool and private. This would work great if you camp/sleep in your car.We have an older 2024 model y and fits great. It is pretty easy to install, just fit it over the windows and it stays by the pressure. I think it also works on the newer juniper as well as it has a couple extra pieces for the rear back side window. It comes with clips but really not needed other than the rear back window. Took a couple minutes to put them all up.It has a nice bag to store everything which can be stored in the car easily for easy access. Will be using it quite a bit waiting for the kids at practices to keep the car cool.

I’ve been using these products almost a month now and these definitely worth spending. No more privacy issue and barely any light breaks through these covers. It also comes with clips. Even though there was no instruction card came with it, I was able to figured it out very easily. Installation takes a minute or two. You can also mark the R/L sides with markers if you want. It functions as designed and folding was easy as well. Products look highly durable and barely any weight. Highly recommended.

Items shipped quickly and worked as expected as it kept the majority of the light out. I buy a lot of basenor products and this item worked as expected as usual. It was easy to use and setup on a sunny day. If you are looking for a combination of good quality and pricing look no further. Once your done it comes with a pouch and you can pack it away and store in your trunk. It was lightweight as well as easy to fold Thank You

This is the best sunshade ever . I do loving it and will purchase for more soon.

I’ve already bought the roof shade ( because in the summers, the car turns into a greenhouse if you park in the sun). But for camping in combination with a Tesla mattress - these shades you can actually sleep in if you choose to while on the beach and miss a stunning sunrise 🤣.They’re pretty perfect, my only suggestion would for them to be labeled with where they’re supposed to go because I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out and then obviously with a Tesla the moment you open the door they’re off because the doors don’t have a frame to hold these in.A complete set has everything you need and with a little bit of patience can absolutely light proof your car!! Highly recommended!!

Occasionally I would use the camping mode and camp out for short trips. The problem I ran into is that I’m waking up the same time sun is up. This solves that exact problem, no more waking up at 6AM, I can finally sleep in a bit with these attached to the window. They’re definitely opaque enough to block I’d say 95% of the light, it’s not a perfect seal but it fits just fine. These also folded nicely in an included pouch, which fits easily in the under trunk area. Overall these has been great especially for how affordable compared other brands.
