Easy to install with a nice tight fit. The finish is a perfect match and I can barely notice these rim guards are in place.

I just bought these for our used Tesla. Wheels came with curb rash and these covers are a great color & texture match, and are easily installed. The longest time was getting the rubber backing on. The covers themselves snapped right on. Still nervous about how long they'll last and if they can go thru a carwash but so far so good!

** UPDATE** I was driving through a parking lot when a car came right towards me. I swerved to avoid a collision and curbed the rear passenger side rim. I pulled over and got out, with a sick feeling in my gut... I knew I had just put the first scars on my new car.... Happy does not do justice to how I felt when I saw the rim protector had saved my rim! The rim protector had come dislodged from the rim... but it did its job. The rim was flawless! Not a scratch!! The rim protector snapped back into place and all was well. I got home, removed the protector, polished out the scratches and reinstalled it. Looks good as new! These rim protectors are maybe the best bargain for a Tesla accessory on Amazon. If you own a Tesla with these upgraded black rims, do yourself a favor... BUY THESE NOW!!!!Tesla rims tend to stick out past the edge of the tires making them prone to curb rash. These rim protectors are the cure! They're easy to install ... up until the last couple of tabs... the last ones take some hand & thumb strength... which is a good thing. They fit tight so you will have no worries about the rim protectors flying off as you drive sown the road. Once installed, they look great. From a distance of about 10 feet you cannot tell they're on the rims. Pic #1 shows them installed... pic #2 shows a bare rim... Pic #3 is a closeup showing them installed. These are sooooo worth the money compared t paying for curb rash rim repairs. These were one of the first things I added. There's other brands on Amazon that come in small pieces and use sticky tape.... The BASENOR brand is a one pice design that fits like a glove. No tape, no aligning dozens of pieces.. Buy these!

These rim protectors fit perfectly on my 2024 Model Y. As others have mentioned, there is some setup with adding the foam protection on the inside of the product before attaching them to the rims, but it was relatively painless and the video instructions provided were helpful. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rim protectors and how easy they were to install. The big question will be durability, but I'm very happy with the product.

I finally pulled the trigger on this rim protectors.I had seen others but they were way too expensive.I have to say that these fit perfectly and match the color really good.They are simple to install and easy to remove if need be. Great find!

The Tesla Model Y 20 Inch Wheel Rim Protector deserves 4 stars. I opted not to use the included double-sided tape to avoid potential rim damage, as we all know the quality of Tesla's priducts. I just imagined the tape doing damage to the tim and seemed like avoiding the tape seems best for now just to be safe. Fortunately, the protectors clipped in fairly easily and hold tight on the rims even without the tape. While you can notice that there's something on the wheels, and it doesn't fully blend in, it still looks good and adds a layer of protection. The only minor drawback is that the air valve is a bit harder to work with due to the added width from the cover. Overall, a solid choice for any Tesla owner and definitely beats looking at curb rash damaged tires or touch-up paint imperfections. Let's hope these last but its cheaper and easier to replace these instead of the entire wheel.

I received these rim protectors for a Tesla and was slightly disappointed at the plastic look and feel to these. It is a nice satin black but its very lightweight and probably not the most durable solution long term. Still, since its main purpose is to protect the wheel, it should do that well as a budget cover. The are flexible and easier to install than expected but on the downside, it doesn't inspire much confidence. The cut and overall shape appeared true to form for all of the items in the set so I think it is well made.

They look great better than what I thought

Despite my best efforts to not scratch the rims, after a year of ownership, I had many scratches, and they were very unsightly. I thought about buying another set of rims, but that would be very expensive, and I'd be once again paranoid, trying my best to avoid scratches. These covers are an excellent alternative - a fraction of the price, and seem very high quality. The snap on very securely and hide all of the scratches while still allowing the metal to 'shine' through for the most part.By the way, if you're like me and thought that they were attached by double-sided tape, that is not the case - the sticky foam is just there to help the covers not rattle, but the attaching is done by the hard plastic snapping on to the wheels in a way that feels incredibly solid.

You put on a little strip of foam on the inside, then you just snap each little section on. Takes 5 minutes to install them all. The fit is so good, you can barely tell they’re there. They clean up nice and match the black rims perfectly. They don’t fall off or make any extra noise.I broke one of these the other day when I clipped the curb. The cover kept me from scratching the rim. Just ordered a replacement pack of four for future mishaps.

Ever since the 1st curb rash and gouge on my rim I’ve been sick to my stomach about how I hurt my poor girl. The 2nd-7th injuries were no less upsetting. With a quote of $250/rim to repair these with still imperfect results, I said no way. I painted the damaged areas and it was a lot less noticeable but if you more than glanced at them you could see the mangled metal underneath. Then I found these and was skeptical. I finally pulled the trigger and went for it and am beyond thrilled with the results!! They look like new. Install was quick and easy. Yes you have to apply a piece of foam to the inside circumference which some people complained about (eye roll) but it took seconds and was no big deal to apply a sticker. The actual install took only a minute per rim max and had we owned a rubber mallet that would’ve been even quicker. The tabs snap in easy til the last couple then they get tight but that’s reassuring to me as I don’t want them to seem easy to fall off. The final result is what looks like perfect stock rims and makes me look like an excellent parker!! Go get these!!OK y’all I haven’t driven with them on yet so I will update this review and let you know how they do!

I bought a 2021 Tesla Model Y with 20-inch induction wheels. These wheels are a curb rash or scratch magnet. I have had multiple scratches and had to get the rim sanded and repainted multiple times. This rim protector is a huge saver and very easy to install. It protects the rim and bottom portion between the spokes. Installation was a breeze and I don't have to worry about damaging the rim as these protectors perfectly fit and will protect my car. Highly recommend the product as it is strong and well-built and does not change the looks of the original wheels, looks OEM. Way to go building a quality product and maintaining the OEM look and feel.

We’ve tried other types of wheel protector before but the fit was always off. These on the contrary fit so well you can’t even see big difference on or off. Well packaged and quality, and it quite brilliant to help reduce chances of scratching my wheel rims especially during winter months. Nice!

My model Y is littered with scratches on the rims. I’m blaming them being too far out. Regardless though I bought these rim protectors to not only hide the scratches but protect from future damage. They snap right onto the rims with a satisfying click and from afar you can barely tell they are on the car at all. Love the look and quality of this.

To avoid a squirrel that jumped out of nowhere, i ended up making a sharp right and Curb rashed the crap out of the rear wheel. These covers are amazing. So easy to attach the wheel and they’ve been holding on for 2 months now. Can’t even tell they’re on. Very lightweight!
