Installation:Installation takes a little more work than the page advertises, but not much more. You have to apply an adhesive foam padding to the inner ring of the rim protector. Then you just snap it onto the rim itself. It takes no more than 5-10 minutes per rim with decent technique. The rim protector feels pleasantly more secure than I was expecting. I don’t feel like it will vibrate or move while driving that would cause wear onto the rims.Appearance:The rim protectors are a perfect paint match to the 21 uberturbine rims I have. Obviously there’s a slight difference because the rims are alloy and the protectors are plastic, but unless you really try to look for it, you’ll never notice the difference. They are very seamless and blend in very well to the rim. It’s nice to have a product that offers protection without sacrificing aesthetics.Effectiveness:I can’t say much here since I haven’t curbed my rims with these installed. I do feel like they would be effective at protecting your rims against light to medium abrasions from curbing your rims. It gives you a little more peace of mind when parking and going through tight parking garages or drive thrus. They do feel secure enough where I highly doubt they are coming off while driving. I’m much more confident in these rim protectors than any other ones on the market.5/5 for now. I will update if I experience any issues or benefits.

Very happy with the results. Easy installation and they feel secure. Make sure to line up the air valve and use the included padded tape on the inside of the covers for a snug fit. The color matches well. I was initially quoted a 1+ month for the delivery time but it ended up coming in about a week.

Fit perfectly. Just install a bit of the included foam tape inside the trim pieces and snap into place. I put mine on 1,000 miles ago and have no issues. Looks great.Note: my first order delivered was for the 20” wheels even tho the packaging said 21”. But easy to return and reorder.

This is the 2nd time I purchased this wheel cover. This set is for my dad model Y. These wheel protectors cover and hide the damages on the wheel.Products came in well packaged. Installation is super easy. It is just a snap on. Make sure to start at the valve first and then move on to the around. They are color-matched with your wheel. Overall, I am happy with the results. More than that, these wheel protectors will make your wheel look more aggressive.

Basenor is one of my go to vendors for Tesla accessories and this item lived up to its high standard. The color matches the Uberturbines and is an exact fit. It is a very simple process to install and took less than 5 minutes per wheel. The longest part was sticking the insulation inside the rim protector. After doing the first wheel, it got much quicker. You can use a finger to guide the tape and rotate the rim protector and tape with the other hand. Afterwards, you line up the air valve and it clicks right in by putting pressure to the inside of the protector until it clicks. Driving around it hasn’t fallen off and seems durable.

My wife hit the curb 4 days after getting our Model Y Performance. I got these to cover up the damage and my frustration 😭. Basenor provided a lining material that you tape around the edges of the rim guard and then you just snap the protective cover into place. It was easy and works well to cover up the damaged rim. I believe that these will provide a small amount of protection. Realistically, if you hit the curb hard enough, you're still going to damage your rims.

Had vehicle parked for 24 hours in Arizona, came out to find the rim/wheel protector had melted/warped from heat/sunlight. No other damage. Seller states “lifetime warranty” but no reply after messaging.Update: Seller responded and sent an entire replacement set under warranty!!

Took off one star for having to install the protective weather stripping. That’s something that should be pre-installed on this product before shipping to the consumer. Otherwise, I just installed them, and they seem to fit and the finish is a near, but not exact match, to the actual uberturbine wheel. I have a wheel that was curbed, and these protectors make it look brand new again and hopefully will protect against further damage!

Curbed my wheels several times (it's what comes with owning a model y performance) and wanted a good solution that would cover up the rashes and also protect my wheels in the future. Unboxing it you get two rolls of foam tape to put around the edges of the rim protectors so it doesn't scratch your rim. After doing the first one you get the hang of it and it becomes alot quicker. Took about 10-15 minutes to wrap the tape around all 4 of the rim protectors. Then installing it on the rims was a breeze. You just have to make sure you clip on the part that goes around the valve first. Then push in the clips for two other corners in a triangle like shape. The important part is that you have to go in a circle and push in all the clips but make sure the edges of the rim protector are pushed down and fully wrap around the outer edge of the rim. I think that's what most people have a hard time doing and so it doesn't stay snug on the wheel. After doing so all of the rim protectors were very tight on the wheel and I could see no chance of them falling off at all. You have to be strategic with how you are pushing the clips in as pushing one in might push out the other ones. Overall took about 25 minutes to tape and install all 4, no tools required! Didn't need to use much force either. Extremely easy to remove as well, I tried removing one just to see how easy it is and all you have to do is push the clips down and pull out. The finish on the rim protectors matches the color of the wheels very well. I'm very happy with my purchase and finally don't have to see my curb rashes anymore!

I purchased these rim protectors a month ago and was really curious to see how they would work. After a months time of driving around, I am very pleased with the results. As you can see in the before pictures, I definitely had some serious scratches on some of my rims. My only wish was that I had put these on months ago before I had so many scratches on my rims.The only negative I have is that the written instructions are not very detailed but the QR code with the video instructions is the best way to get the detailed instructions with step by step assistance.

These look great. I just put them on yesterday. At 100 bucks you can’t really beat the value, although it was a bit of work putting them on. Definitely recommend

I was skeptical purchasing these wheel protector for a couple of reasons; first is aesthetic if it will really match the wheels and 2nd if it will really work.I was impressed from opening the box, the products are well packaged with product information and QR code to view on installation process. Installation process was pretty straight forward from installing the foam on the inside of the wheel protector to installing them to the wheels. Make sure the valve system is aligned and snapping the wheel protector in place is a breeze.It's a no brainer not to get these if you are concerned of curbing your wheels! Recommended for sure!
