2020-2024 Tesla Model Y Glass Roof Sunshade - Nano Ice-Crystal Heat Insulation, Retractable Gray | BASENOR

I'm so glad i got this product. It's 100 degrees in Florida right now and I'm getting sunburn inside my own car! I needed a solution and came across this item. I no longer get sunburn in the car and the car stays a lot cooler! Installation was simple. After watching the video i got it installed in 15 minutes. And it's removable and refoldable when you want to take it out.

I previously had an old mesh sunshade that I bought back in 2022 that began to look dated. The old one was made of cheap mesh, was see through and didn’t last 2 years…unless you wanted a sunshade with snags and holes. I wanted a more premium product and decided to give this one a chance. I knew right out of the box that it would last since it was a noticeably a heavy duty shade. One side it has a silver reflective coating and the other matches the interior of the car. The installation was similar to the old one. It pops open and the trick is to place the hooks on one end before sliding it up against the roof. The difference is that it pretty much held in place without the other clips. It literally took under 5 minutes to install. I didn’t even use all the clips so I have extras just in case. There are a few creases that I would think will smooth out after being open for a day or two.

Comes with carry bag and well packaged. Seems high quality so far and stays in place without too much movement even with the windows down. I think the newer model y top glass already does a good job of reducing heat, but this added protection for the summer should be beneficial. Does take 5-10 mins during first setup but I’ll probably leave for the summer so not a big deal.

Sunshade is a perfect fit and matches the headliner color nicely. Blocks out heat and keeps the cabin cooler as advertised. Easy to install clips with instructions. Also comes with a a bag when you no longer need to have it installed.

Fit was perfect and easy to install, need to test the temperature over couple of days.

I have a 2023 model Y and wanted some sun and heat protection to protect my little ones in the back. I've have a previous model 3 and knew that while the all glass roof is really neat, there are times when I need to block the sun. So I purchased this one because I've purchased other things in the past from the brand and found them all to be pretty good. I opted for the gray instead of the black this time around to match the interior better and I think it worked out pretty well. Fitment is great, especially with the larger windows in the model Y compared to the 3. Seems really secure and I don't have any complaints about this sunshade. good stuff!

I recently bought the ASENOR 2024 Upgraded Tesla Model Y Glass Roof Sunshade, and I’m very happy with it. It fits my 2022 Model Y perfectly and really helps keep the car cooler. The installation was easy, and it comes with a storage bag for when I don’t need it. The best part is that it doesn’t sag, which was a problem with other shades I tried. Update 6/10/2025: Purchased another for a new 2026 “Juniper” Model Y. Fit is great as before, now includes a little box to keep the spare clips in which is very convenient. Wrinkles will disappear after it’s been up for a couple of days!Original review: I love the panoramic views through the Model Y's massive sunroof, especially when car camping and viewing the night sky while laying in the back. However, the Colorado sun gets HOT during the day, and I wanted an easy to install/remove sun roof shade. Basenor's newly released, upgraded version of the glass roof sunshade was the ideal solution.The sunshade has a cloth side that perfectly matches the interior color of the Model Y, while the glass-facing side is reflective. It clips into place and takes about 5 minutes to install or remove once you know how it works. When removed, you can twist-fold it into a small package that fits in the included carrying case.I'll likely leave this up most of the time, and only take it down when I want to enjoy the sunroof. While I got this for the summer sun, with the goal of keeping the interior temps a little cooler, a definite bonus is that it will provide a small layer of insulation in the winter, likely helping keep the car slightly warmer during ski season!

My wife just got her model Y and this made a huge difference. Texas summers are brutal and having a glass roof is not ideal. This sun shade really helps.

Easy to setup. Fits perfectly and comes with clips for the middle. All corners are covered.

I bought a roof sunshine for my 22 Model Y last summer and for the most part it did it’s job. But after a year it really started to sag. This one seemed more premium so I decided to upgrade.This has been huge. Not only does it have two layers. One matching my interior and one repelling the heat, it also doesn’t sag in the middle like my previous one.This week we’ve had heat in the 100-110 range and parking out in the sun I have already noticed how much quicker the car will cool down when you turn on the AC prior to going into your car.Installation was a breeze. Maybe five minutes to do it. Very straight forward, similar to my previous shield. Also will be very easy to take off during the winter when I no longer need it.Overall extremely happy with it. I’m pretty sure this will last more than one summer.

What I liked:- Came with everything you need, including a storage bag!- Instructions are clear. I know this seems minor but the amount of items i've received with no instructions is pretty shocking, even if the mfg thinks it's self-explantory- Install was pretty easy (sorry, did not capture a pic of this at the time of review)- After installing, I can tell a pretty big difference after allowing the car to bake in the midwest sun a little- Overall look is pretty good, I feel like this is the best of both worlds as 3 seasons you'd want the panoramic glass, just not during the summer.Other Notes:- Remains to be seen how secure it is, or whether it will fall or droop down over time. That being said, due to the way it's installed it seems like it'll be secure all season.- Install is a tiny bit finicky. I don't know that i'd want to take it up / down constantly.

It’s been a week or so of using and luckily got this before the long trip and worth every penny as it was one of the hottest weeks and could feel the difference with the sun shade and withoutI am glad we decided to buy this and can’t complain on how it came in and how easy it was to install
