Installing the Sentry plugin takes two paths: type /marketplace inside Grok Build and select it from the list, or run grok plugin install <name> --trust from the CLI. Security is handled by pinning remote plugins to a specific commit SHA, which Grok Build verifies at install time — a reasonable safeguard for a tool that will be reading your production error data.
There's no separate charge for the plugin itself. The underlying grok-build-0.1 model is priced at $1.00 per million input tokens and $2.00 per million output tokens through the API. For developers already paying for SuperGrok or Premium Plus, the Sentry integration is effectively included.
The broader plugin marketplace signals that xAI is positioning Grok Build as a serious coding assistant rather than a general-purpose chatbot with a terminal wrapper. Sentry is a widely-used error monitoring platform, so this integration has a large potential audience. Whether the quality of Grok's debugging suggestions holds up against a production codebase is the real question — and that will only become clear as more developers get hands-on time with it.
