What the Hardware Reveals
The Mini 2 carries the hardware revision designation mini2_prod1, confirming it is a distinct production unit rather than a minor board refresh. Inside, it runs a 4S lithium battery pack managed by a BQ40Z-series Battery Management System — the same class of BMS used in precision battery applications where accurate state-of-charge monitoring matters. The specific capacity of the battery has not yet been disclosed.
Charging is handled through a USB-C Power Delivery port supporting an input range of 11–24 V, with a minimum requirement of 100W (20V/5A).
