Tesla has opened a new V4 Supercharger station in Longview, Texas — its 10th location equipped with V4 cabinets in the state. The station brings 8 stalls capable of delivering up to 500 kW, making it one of the fastest public charging stops available to Cybertruck owners in the region. It's also open to non-Tesla EVs via NACS, continuing the network's broader accessibility push.

The 500 kW figure is significant for Cybertruck owners specifically. The truck's 800-volt architecture allows it to take full advantage of V4 cabinet output — a meaningful real-world advantage over older V3 stations, which top out at 250 kW. According to Car and Driver, V4 cabinets are also designed to support vehicles with electrical architectures ranging from 400 to 1000 volts, meaning the hardware is future-ready for next-generation Tesla platforms as well.
The Longview station adds to a growing footprint of high-output V4 locations across Texas, a state with one of the highest concentrations of Cybertruck registrations in the country. For non-Tesla EV drivers, the station's NACS compatibility means it's accessible without an adapter for vehicles from automakers who have adopted the standard natively.
