How Active Road Noise Reduction Actually Works

This isn't a simple audio filter. Tesla's implementation uses four microphones embedded in the Cybertruck's cabin alongside the truck's 15-speaker sound system. The microphones continuously sample low-frequency road noise — the kind of droning thud you feel through the floor on rough pavement or washboard roads — and the system generates phase-inverted sound waves through the speakers to cancel it out in real time.
