Teslascope has flagged a new Tesla software version — 2026.8.200 — appearing as a factory-installed update on recently delivered vehicles. It's a narrow, internal build: fewer than 0.1% of the fleet is currently running it, and it's not rolling out over the air to existing owners.

According to tracking data from TeslaFi and tesla-info.com, the build has been observed on 2026 Model 3 (H) and Model Y (J) units in Germany and the United States, all equipped with AP HW4 and Ryzen MCU hardware. The official release notes are brief: this version carries minor fixes and improvements, with no new headline features documented specifically for 2026.8.200.
That's typical for a factory build. These versions are pre-loaded at the plant so new vehicles arrive with the most current stable code, but they don't represent a feature push for existing owners. If you just took delivery of a new Model 3 or Model Y, this is likely what's already on your car — or close to it.
The broader 2026.8 branch it belongs to is a different story. That software line, which began wider rollout in mid-March, introduced Comfort Braking for 2025+ Model Y Juniper, Active Road Noise Reduction, Blind Spot Warning While Parked for Cybertruck, a new Grok voice named Leo, and FSD (Supervised) v13.2.9 for Australia and New Zealand. Version 2026.8.200 sits at the tail end of that branch — a maintenance build rather than a feature release. For existing owners on the 2026.8 line already, no action is needed here.
