Tesla confirmed this morning that Summon — specifically the Actually Smart Summon (ASS) variant — is rolling out for Cybertruck. The announcement came directly from Tesla's official account, with the feature expected to reach vehicles shortly.

Actually Smart Summon lets your Tesla navigate a parking lot autonomously and pull up to your location — all controlled through the Tesla app. It goes well beyond the original basic Summon (which only moved the car forward or backward in a straight line), using the vehicle's cameras and sensors to route around obstacles and other cars. The feature requires Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and has been available on Model 3, Y, S, and X for some time. Cybertruck is now joining that list.

The practical upside for Cybertruck owners is obvious: the truck's size makes tight parking lots genuinely stressful. Having the vehicle navigate out and come to you — while you stand clear — removes that friction entirely. Watching a 6,600-lb stainless steel truck maneuver itself through a crowded lot is also, admittedly, going to be a sight.

No specific software version or hard launch date was given beyond "rolling out shortly." Cybertruck owners with FSD (Supervised) should keep an eye on their Tesla app for the update — and check the Summon section under the app's controls once it arrives.
