Tesla's Hollywood Diner is doing more than serving milkshakes — it's now advertising what appears to be a 'Cross California Drive' promotion or community event. The signage was spotted outside the venue on May 15 by Whole Mars Catalog, one of the more plugged-in Tesla observers on X, though Tesla has not yet made any official announcement about the initiative.

The Tesla Diner, located at 7001 Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood, opened in July 2025 and has quickly become one of Tesla's most visible brand experiences in the US. The two-story venue features 80 V4 Supercharger stalls, a rooftop 'Skypad' bar, over 250 seats, and dual LED megascreens — making it a natural launchpad for events that blend long-distance driving with the Tesla lifestyle. A cross-state drive promotion fits the venue's identity almost perfectly.
Details on the 'Cross California Drive' remain sparse. It's unclear whether this is a structured rally-style event, a promotional campaign tied to FSD capabilities, or a community road trip organized in partnership with a Tesla owners club. California's Supercharger network density makes it one of the easiest states in the country to do a long-distance EV drive, and Tesla has historically used experiential marketing to demonstrate real-world range and charging convenience rather than relying on spec sheets alone.
If this turns out to be an organized event open to Tesla owners, it would be worth watching for registration details on Tesla's website or through the Tesla app. For now, the signage is the only confirmed data point — but given the Diner's role as a flagship brand venue, it's unlikely to be purely decorative.
